A high pressure system over southeastern Australia with a ridge to the northeast is directing west to southwesterly winds along the New South Wales coast. Winds will become light and variable today before turning north to northwesterly on Monday and Tuesday as the high moves over the Tasman Sea extending the ridge to the northwest.
