"Stay happy and you'll be perfectly fine" - Jack Norris

Quiet and grey Saturday morning

Hello Friends,
(Sorry for the late posting, having issues with the content delivery network. Putting this up for the historical value.)

At 0500 the MHL buoy was seeing only 0.7 metre of SE bump at around 11 sec apart.

Wind was a light NNW of 5-7 kts as of 0630. It should pick up later and stay W-NW until evening when another bout of southerly conditions is set to insue. Tide is dropping to the 0.5 m low at 1020 and then will be back to a 1.5 m high at 1645.

Weather Situation
A high pressure system over the southwestern Tasman Sea is extending a ridge to the north resulting in a northerly flow over the waters. A southerly change is expected to move along the southern half of the coast later today, reaching the north coast on Sunday. This southerly flow will remain into the new week, as a weak low pressure system lingers over the northern Tasman Sea.
