Down in Canberra this morning but I can see that the 1.5 metres of 6-8 sec north-NE wind swell is producing knee to waist plus at magnets. Water’s a chilly 16C and the light early morning north breeze is going to ramp up into the 15-25 kt range as the day warms. Late this evening the wind should be still going as hard, but it’ll be SW.
Tide’s currently running into the lunchtime high.
Outlook is for some south energy tomorrow but with strong SW wind. With luck the swell energy (I’m hoping on your behalf for shoulder plus sets) will stick around into Monday morning. Looks like we have a midweek fade to near flat, but with a slight hope for an uptick on Thursday-Friday…
