The Goat’s Surf Forecast

Surf forecast issued Thursday 31 January 2019: Seven day outlook for Sydney:

The kids are back at school, mums and dads are back at work, the weather’s been pretty good, conditions should be ideal… But then

Nothing’s been happening…and that’ll be it for the week given all the wind changes forecast.

Hot now … 39 on the coast around 4pm…but a cool change is on the way…passed through Jervis Bay around 3pm doing around 40kph with gusts around 60-70 kph.  You work out when it’ll get here 🙂 something to do in the heat.

And here’s something else for you.  I haven’t given you a singalong surf forecast for a while … close your eyes and listen.  Close your eyes I said!  Hahaha.

To stay Cool as Mungo:

Sit in the shade

Drink lots of cool liquids

Wear a hat – to dive in and out of the water.

Friday: somewhere around the upper end of the 1-2 metre range at places that get dead South waves..but will have S wind with it

Saturday: down slightly South East with onshores

Sunday: ditto again within 1-2 metre range but more East, with NE wind

Monday: ditto to that

Tuesday: ditto to that, but with a S wind change expected by the BOM from late Monday

Wednesday: in the 1-2 metre range South East

Thursday: And ditto.

Who knows.. you might be able to catch some waves you can ride if you’re not too fussy.

Have a good one!
