The Goat’s Surf Forecast

The Goat’s Surf Forecast

Surf forecast issued Thursday 31 October 2019: Seven day outlook for Sydney:

Very small today, but at the right tide with the right board it’s amazing at times to watch what young/fit agile people can make of what little is available and have fun, which is after all the object of surfing.

Very smokey hazy and foggy early, then just the smoke haze, now seems to have mostly cleared away. But the Bureau expects it to be back tomorrow, then after a fresh Noreaster which should clear the smoke on Sat and Sun morning the forecast is, hey hey, for rain at times.. . Hope some falls on the fires up the coast.

The surf outlook is for Noreasters to push in a little windswell for the weekend, then a short Southeasterly period, then back to Noreatsers… Spring/Summerlike.

Friday: a tiny bit more than today, still around 1ish metres from the North East… more noticeable on the lower tides with highs being so high and full

Saturday: up more form stronger Noreast wind, into the 1-2 metre range toward the more southern parts of beaches

Sunday: somewhere in the 1-2 metre range North East

Monday: in the 1-2 metre range East North East

Tuesday: down a bit in the 1-2 metre range East South East

Wednesday: around 1 metre or less South East

Thursday: ditto North East
