Smooth little lines for Saturday morning fun

Hello Friends,
If you’re keen, there were little knee to maybe waist high glassy bumps at the best exposure. Wind will kick in as the day heats up to a high of 35C along the coast. Ocean temp has dropped back to 19C. Tide is dropping to the low at 0950. There’s a Poor air quality forecast from the already evident smoke haze.

We swing to southerly tomorrow, so while the surf should push up a little, the biggest stuff will be at most exposed spots because the period will be too short to refract much into corners.

Beyond that, there’s a prospect of more south wind and a possibility of some light precipitation across the front half of the work week.  Surfwise, it looks not too interesting. Basically more short period knee to waist high south wind bump and generally south wind…

Stay safe everyone, particularly those of you facing dangerous fire conditions.

Weather Situation

A high pressure system is strengthening over the Tasman sea and is directing north to northeasterly winds across the New South Wales coast. A trough associated with a cold front will bring a gusty southerly change to the southern half of the coast later today, which will stall about the north coast on Sunday.
