"Stay happy and you'll be perfectly fine" - Jack Norris

Flash bangs last night but clear this morning

Hello Friends

Tapping out a quick message on the way to the airport aboard the B1. There were a few people on long craft chasing knee high and glassy lines near the pool. No real sign of significant energy immediately north from there. I reckon you could find waist pluses at dy or curly tho.

Swell is around 1.5 m at 12s from 138d (SE). Tide is currently headed to the low shortly before 1335.

Weather Situation

A high pressure system over the Tasman Sea is directing generally northerly winds along northern parts of the coast. A trough of low pressure is causing west to southwesterly winds about southern and central parts of the coast, which will extend to the north today as a low deepens over the southern Tasman Sea. Behind this, a new high looks set to move across from the west during the later part of the week, reaching the Tasman Sea on the weekend.

Should be nw to sw today and then southerly tomorrow with a ramp in swell.
