Windblown in Syd and SoCal

Hello Friends,
NE wind going from early this morning so, while there is a couple metres of 7-8 second east wind bump, surface conditions away from the protected corners are not likely to be good. (See marine forecast below)
Windy and small in SoCal this morning and only just into the surfable range in Santa Cruz. Another day for bike riding from the look of it.

Windy and tiny in Ventura this morning
Trestles not crowded at all – for obvious reasons
Clean but just surfable at Steamer Lane in Santa Cruz

Weather Situation

A high pressure system over the southern Tasman Sea extends a ridge along the New South Wales coast, while ex-Tropical Cyclone Esther approaches northwest New South Wales. This pattern is generating northeasterly winds along coastal waters, which are expected to freshen today as the remnants of Esther slip southeast across New South Wales. The next southerly change is expected on Friday as the remnants of Esther reach the Tasman Sea, and a cold front moves to the south of the state. By the weekend, another high pressure ridge will extend along the New South Wales coast from a high centred near Tasmania.
