The Goat’s Surf Forecast
Surf forecast issued Thursday 11 June 2020: Seven day outlook for Sydney:
Funny old week.. The Bureau forecasts seemed to be a day ahead or behind themselves at times, so TG didn’t know what day it was. But some people say that about him all the time anyway…
Wind’s cold, shade’s cold, rain’s cold… Yet there are still people who want to throw themselves into the ocean… Weird huh?
Saw a pod of nine whales headed North today… They didn’t look like they were gonna stop at the Border – having traveled all the way up from Antarctica with the kids saying: Are we there yet? Are we there yet? (in Whale Talk of course).
Surf outlook for the coming week is not spectacular, in fact pretty ordinary in the Smallish to Medium category. so you’ll really have to think about if you want to get wet. But there should be something around most of the time if you do, and it’ll be good for beginners and other folks. Size at individual beaches will depend on wave direction each day, and that looks like chopping and changing.
Friday: around 1 metre or so North East
Saturday: ditto East
Sunday: similar North East
Monday: and again East North East
Tuesday: down a bit… ie 1 metre or less East North East
Wednesday: Same same East
Thursday: Same same same.
Stay well by keeping your distance, so you won’t be sick when there are good waves around eh.
