"Stay happy and you'll be perfectly fine" - Jack Norris

Dial it down Dee Why

Hello Friends,

It’s slipped down another notch overnight at Dee Why and this morning sees mostly ankle to knee high bumps. Surface conditions are smooth under largely sunny skies. Swell at sea is around the metre mark at 7 seconds from the east. That being the case, there might be a slightly bigger wave to be had at the spots that like east swell. But there’s not a lot in the tank energywise, so be happy if you score something into the waist plus range. Tide hits high at 0810 and is back to low at 1440. Should be sunny today with a high of 20C.

From the shape of the models, we should have a little something to surf all week, in fact it may even get into the overhead range at south magnets as we come up to the weekend.

Have a top old Monday and stay safe.

Weather Situation
A high pressure system lies over the western Tasman Sea, generating northerly winds today while a cold front approaches from the south. This cold front will bring a west to southwesterly change during Tuesday and Wednesday. Winds along the southern waters may strengthen as a complex low pressure system, associated with the cold front, moves to the east of Tasmania. Following this, winds will slowly turn northeasterly by Friday, as the front and its associated low move towards New Zealand.
