Little bumps for the keen

Hello Friends,

The models told us to expect near flatness this morning, but, happily there are still a few little bumps left for the super keen. Dee Why was in the ankle to knee and a bit range as of 0700. Swell at sea was a metre at 10 seconds from the SE. Wind was out of the west early and should stay light and variable across the day. First tide of the day is a low at 0950 and then we’re back to high at 1630. Water is on 17C. Skies were mostly clear as Friday got started but the Bureau tells us to expect rain by close of play.
Outlook you ask? Well, the astounding reliable Goat has rolled out a fresh dose of surf wisdom for your consideration…
Go well with your Friday and keep that mask handy for those occasions when you venture into the shops or other enclosed public spaces. As NZ shows, the virus isn’t going away.

Weather Situation
Northerly winds will increase today ahead of an approaching cold front, which will bring a southwesterly change to the New South Wales coast on Saturday. As this change reaches the Tasman Sea, a low pressure system is forecast to develop offshore from the South Coast and then move away to the southeast during Sunday and Monday. Fresh to strong southwesterly winds on Sunday will ease from the north as the low moves further south. Winds will then tend back to the northwest later Monday.
