The odd wave to be found

Hello Friends,

As of 0700 wind was coming lightly from the SSE. It’s not expected to pick up much, but it will keep coming from the eastern quarters. Out at sea the buoys were seeing 1.6 metres of 8-second wind swell from 156° (SSE). First tide of the daylight hours is the 0910 low. High is 1.5 m at 1530. Weather should be partly cloudy as it goes to a high of 21C with a 20% chance of rain. Water is on 19C.
Outlook is for the poor to mediocre conditions to persist through tomorrow at least. The average period is expected to improve around Wednesday, so maybe a hope there for a little more energy than we have right now.
Doing the Manly run this morning, so will post pictures by about 0900.
Go well with your day one and all!

Waist high with the odd bigger one

South Curly waves not great but if you were keen…

Weather Situation
A high pressure system east of Tasmania is extending a ridge north along the New South Wales coast, bringing southeast to northeasterly winds to the region today. This system will slowly drift east across the Tasman Sea for a number of days, with coastal winds gradually shifting northeasterly throughout the coastal waters. A slow-moving trough of low pressure looks set to bring a southerly change towards the end of the week.
