"Stay happy and you'll be perfectly fine" - Jack Norris

You have to be so keen

Hello Friends,
Not a great surf morning out there. Wind was ESE 14-17kts at daybreak and the Bureau tells us it’ll be SE 10-15 kts across the day. Out at sea the disorganised wind bump was coming from the south at 1.6 metres with a choppy 5-9 second period. The first tide of the daylight hours was a 1.77m high tide at 0650. Weather is expected to be partly cloudy with the chance of a possible shower and a top of 24C on the coast. Water is getting more summery and is now up to 22C.
Weather is set to remain intermittently showery through Thursday and although the swell’s expected to build into the 2+ metre range from the east on Monday, but the wind is set to stay onshore until Wednesday, when at least some of the predictions are calling for 2 metres of 10-second east with light breezes for the early. Right now that looks like being the pick of the week, but with luck Thursday morning will be pretty good too.
Go well with your day everybody!

Weather Situation
A strong high pressure system near Tasmania extends a ridge across the southern Tasman Sea. This high will gradually drift east over the coming days, directing generally east to southeasterly winds along the New South Wales coast. Winds and waves are expected to increase along the northern half of the coast later on the weekend, as a trough deepens and forms a low pressure system near the southern Queensland coast.
