"Stay happy and you'll be perfectly fine" - Jack Norris

Energy increasing, quality not so much

Hello Friends,
Rugged conditions, even in the corners. Occasional size but 10-15 kts of ENE wind is just making a mess of it. Plus the swell looked kinda soft and weak. Out at sea it was 2 metres from the east at 6-8 seconds, so no wonder it seemed gutless. Gutless, onshore junk to sum it up.
We can expect the swell to build over the next day or so, but it’ll continue straight onshore until maybe Wednesday morning for the early, then spots that cope with NW wind (lots) should be the go as the swell begins to fade back from the Tuesday peak. Oh, and I hope you like rain and showers.
Have a good one!

Weather Situation
A strong high pressure system over the southern Tasman Sea extends a ridge northwards. This high will gradually drift east over the coming days, directing generally southeast to northeasterly winds along the New South Wales coast. Winds and waves are increasing along the northern half of the coast as the low moves onshore about the southeast Queensland coast. This system is expected to drift south and weaken on Tuesday.
