Smooth early

Hello Friends,

Raining to start this morning with light winds and smooth seas. The waverider buoy was detecting 1.4 metres of 7 second SE wind bump which was translating into knee to knee and a bit at the magnets. Tide was high at 0835 and will bottom out again at 1515. It’s going to be a mild 22C with showers a good chance all day, and in fact, it seems we’ll have La Nina showery weather for the next week. Water is rated as ‘pollution unlikely’ and ocean temperature is up to 22C.

Surf outlook hasn’t changed on this morning’s run of the swell models. We’re facing short period (6-8 seconds) metre, to metre and a bit wind bump from the eastern quarters.
