"Stay happy and you'll be perfectly fine" - Jack Norris

Grey and drizzling with little bumps

Hello Friends,

By 0700 the rain was falling. Wind was coming from the north to NNW 5 at 7kts and out at sea the swell was 1.5 metres from 148° at 13 seconds apart. Tide was coming into the 1.8 m high at 1020. Wave were in the chest high range with the odd plus set at both Dee Why- Long Reef and Collaroy-Narrabeen. Surface conditions were still smooth, but be warned, the southerly will soon be upon us, and as the Goat forewarned, they’re set to stick around all week. So, this could be as good as it gets for places with south exposure for pretty much until Friday. It looks like a rainy, southerly week ahead.
Stay safe, go well and have a great Saturday.

Weather Situation
A low pressure trough stretches through central inland New South Wales extending across the central coast, with a southerly change pushing up the coast. The southerly change will move across the central and northern parts of the coast on Saturday, before reaching the far north coast by early Sunday. Winds will then become easterly early new week as a new high pressure system to the south of Tasmania slowly drifts east.
