Long solid south line

Hello Friends,

Heaps of straight south swell for Saturday morning. Plus the wind was a light WNW. Set wave faces at magnets were solidly overhead and the fully matured ground swell has such a long line that it’s going to be tough finding a makeable one at most beaches. Out at sea the buoys were seeing 1.6-2.5 m of 13-14 second near dead south (176°) swell. Tide was high (1.7 m) at 0540 and will be back to a low-ish 0.4 m and water is clean. We should be in for a sunny, mild 23C day.
Tomorrow we go to partly cloudy, a chance of a shower and a switch to southerly wind in the morning. But the swell should continue, although somewhat smaller than today’s peaks. Happily it looks like there should be fun size surf through to Wednesday.
Go well!
