Still some little waves around for Thursday

Hello Friends,

The very gradual decline in energy levels continued overnight, but there’s still a little line showing and the best exposure should be around the waist high mark on sets. Dee Why is on the lower end of the barely surfable range, but as the pictures show, there were folks having a go in the smooth conditions. You’ll want your most buoyant option if you’re going for a paddle.

Out at sea the swell was just a touch under a metre from 164° at 11 seconds. Wind wafting gently from the west as of 0700 and first tide of the daylight hours is a 1.6 metre high at 1000. It’ll be back to low at 1545 when the temp could be around the 24C mark. Speaking of temps, the latest from Beachwatch is that our water’s clean and 21C.

It’s Thursday so that means we can look forward to the mighty Goat sharing his thoughts on our immediate and longer term surf prospects. I’m liking the look of the latter half of next week, but I’ll wait for the wise one to pronounce before getting too hopeful.

Have yourself a great Thursday everyone!
