"Stay happy and you'll be perfectly fine" - Jack Norris

Soft and knee to waist high

Hello Friends,

A gloomy start to what promises to be a cloudy and showery day but there are little waves to be had at most beaches this morning. The swell at sea was 1.9 metres and coming from the ENE at about 9 seconds apart. Given the direction and size, Dee Why won’t be the biggest option but it definitely has something for the keen.

Tide is low at 0915 and will be back to a moderate high at 1525. The Bureau tells us there’s a 100% chance of rainfall in the 5-10mm range. And it looks as though we’ll have grey, showery weather right through to Friday. And speaking of Friday, the swell models continue to anticipate a solid east pulse in the 2-3 metre at 11 second zone. Wind is expected to be offshore too.  Between now and then it looks like a gradual but steady build in surf intensity.

Go well with your Tuesday one and all!

Not much up the beach
