The Goat’s Surf Forecast

The Goat’s Surf Forecast

Surf forecast issued Thursday 20 July 2021: Seven day outlook for Sydney:

We’ve certainly had a good dose of August westerly type winds…in July.

One wonders what August may bring!

Whatever it is,  TG is sure you’ll be able to cope and adjust if you have to, just like in life in general.

With  the ever present flatness continuing, he decided in a flight of fancy the other day to have a swim sans wettie.  He said he’d been told by various people that the water temp was warm…

But he said it felt like Freezing! He is prone to exaggeration of course but he has devised a rough rule of thumb (or hoof in his case) for you if you were thinking of doing the same thing sometime…

Run the cold tap first thing in the morning, put your finger under it and consider if you’d like to have a swim in that! he said.

He thought you might be tempted to resort to a swim for exercise, because the outlook for waves ain’t so good…

Friday: less than 1 metre dead South or flat

Saturday: Ditto North

Sunday: Ditto

Monday: Ditto but from the East so a slight possibility there could be some little runners at times

Tuesday: Ditto

Wednesday: Ditto dead South.

Let’s just leave it at that now. We want you to keep your spirits up.

Besides, Who knows what’s around the corner. Let’s just get on with it.

You could always try wearing a wetsuit.. TG can’t find one with four legs.
