The Goat’s Surf Forecast

The Goat’s Surf Forecast

Surf forecast issued Thursday 9 September 2021: Seven day outlook for Sydney:

What a rip snorter of  day, hey?  Sky was pretty, Waves were pretty, and lots of boys and girls were having pretty good fun..

I decided that TG has been eating a bit too much of everything lately so I put him on an instant starvation diet of a small cap, made him walk a lot, and while he was still whinging I took him to the beach and threw him in.

He got pummeled around in the shore dump, tossed around like a rag doll belted by powerful little waves. I laughed, but to my surprise he didn’t complain like he did last week.  So judging by The Goat Immersion Tool, the water temp must be on the improve…

The outlook is for the surf to ease back over the next few days, with smaller more manageable waves for those people that like them, and warmer weather conditions. A few swell directional changes with the wind, and then it’ll start coming up from the South coinciding with cooler conditions.

Friday: maybe around 1 ish metres or so South East

Saturday: something similar or maybe a little more South

Sunday: around 1 metre or less

Monday: 1-1+ metres North East then South

Tuesday: say 1-1+ metres South

Wednesday: starting to come up from the South, around 2-2+ metres

Thursday: around 2-2+ metres South East

Enjoy the kind of surf that you like. Variety is the spice of life.
