Scrappy stuff for Tuesday

Hello Friends,

Not a surf day really. 15-20kts of ESE all night and 1.6m of 9-second SE junkiness. Dull grey skies. Just not a pretty picture. A day for other things.

Tomorrow’s not looking too flash either, but there might be a little NE pulse late Thursday into Friday. Wind’s expected to be NW Friday morning, so maybe… possibly… at the right spot…

Stay safe everyone.

(Just because the pollies are acting like we’re out of the woods, it’s well to remember that there were close to 500 new cases detected yesterday and there are 770 people in hospital, 153 of whom are in the ICU. It’s fantastic to see that 95% of the 16+ population will be vaxed be first vaxxed by the end of the month, plus 90% should be fully vaxxed a day or so after that! Shows what you can do when the supplies actually get organised.)

Weather Situation

A southerly change has cleared the NSW coast and will become slow moving off the far north coast near Queensland border, then deepen to a low pressure system offshore today before moving further east and weakening. Meanwhile a ridge of high pressure will extend from the south later Monday into Tuesday then drift away on Wednesday as the next cold front approaches from the west.
