Back to small for Thursday morning

Hello Friends,

Beautiful morning out there, but the waves were struggling to make waist high on the sets at Dee Why beach. The point was not an option. Wind before 0800 was westerly at 8-11 kts under bright, partly cloudy skies. Out at sea the swell was 1.3 metres from 161° (SSE) at 9 seconds apart. Tide was low at 0730 and will be back to a modest 1.46 high 1410. Weather call is for a high of 28C with mostly sunny skies. Beachwatch is reporting 20C ocean temps and clean water everywhere in Sydney.

A quick glance at the models suggests not much to get excited about for the next few days, but maybe late in the weekend at south magnets? As always, I’ll be keen to see what the mighty Goat thinks when he rolls out his weekend and week-ahead forecast later today.

Stay safe, pack the mask for inside and have a top old Thursday!
