Hello Friends,
A lumpy, tide-affected south line was showing at north ends before 0800. There were folk in the water at Dee Why too, but I didn’t see anyone jag a wave when I waited to grab the snap this morning at around 0715. Wind was already up and coming from the north at 5-6 kts. It’s going to pick up into the 15-25 kt range as the morning goes along. Swell was 1.3m at 11 seconds from 176° (ie, dead south). The outlook is that it will weaken slowly across the day. Ocean temp is still on 20C.
As always, I’m looking forward to seeing what the Goat thinks of our prospects for the coming surf week, so be sure to check back later for his words of surf wisdom. Prospects look pretty quiet to me…
