"Stay happy and you'll be perfectly fine" - Jack Norris

Miserable morning

Hello Friends,

A stormy night followed by a stormy Saturday morning along the beaches (and across much of NSW). As of 0700 the southerly was hammering along at 22-31 kts and out at sea the swell was 4.4 metres at 10 seconds from 170° (S by SSE). If you’re really keen and don’t mind the dodgy looking water, there were somewhat disorganised and junky looking waist to chest high lines at Collaroy, but elsewhere conditions were pretty ordinary.

Weather looks like being a little less drizzly for those of us planning to form a line in the sand at 4pm along Collaroy-Narrabeen beach. Hoping to see lots of beach lovers there. Get the details here.

Outllook is for the current conditions to last through the weekend, but as the swell fades on Monday, the wind might back off a little and maybe conditions will come together at south spots…

Stay safe, go well and see you on the sand.

Weather Situation

A high south of the continent is pushing a southerly flow up the New South Wales coast. The high will move slowly east through the weekend, reaching the southern Tasman Sea on Monday. Southerly winds along the coast should moderate on Sunday and tend southeast to northeasterly on Monday.
