The Goat’s Surf Forecast

The Goat’s Surf Forecast

Surf forecast issued Thursday 26 May 2022: Seven day outlook for Sydney

TG is a pretty Positive kind of guy. He said he did a little test last night that which proved that to be the case!

He’d asked for a GOAT test, but all the shop had was a RAT test!! That’ll have to do, he said. He figures if he “passed” (!) a RAT test, he could pass a GOAT test easily (!??)

What a Dill.

Despite all the precautions I guess it had to happen sometime. We flew wearing masks, so no idea where TG got it.. could have even been back here. Being triple vaxxed, he has mildish symptoms so far.

We’d been up north on a tropical island in Far North Qld, initials H I.. (not Hawaii!) and had a great time with a great bunch of people. After TG had a look around, he excitedly told me: “Hey I’ve gotta give everyone the drum on this – There’s no surf on this island! How bizarre.. an island in the ocean without surf! …Something to do with a big reef offshore.”

Like I said.. He’s such a Dill.

Despite the lack of surf, there were lots of other things to do on the island to have Fun!!

So he has seven days of home detention ahead of him and he hasn’t seen the surf, but we can see waves down there and it looked like a corker day. Here’s his feelings about the coming week>>>

Friday: about the same as today, in the 1-2 metre range East

Saturday: ditto

Sunday: ditto

Monday: ditto

Tuesday: ditto

Wednesday: similar, but could be starting to come up from dead South

Thursday: maybe 1-2 metres or more dead South

A few days of light winds and offshores could see some nice little waves – for healthy people!

Stay wel.

TG.
