Showers and sets for Sunday morning

Hello Friends,

Kinda bobbly, sectiony-looking energy this morning but we still have close to 2 metres of 14-sec SSE (153°) swell. That means sets at better exposures are into the shoulder to head high range. Weather early was showery and wind was westerly still as of 0830. The Bureau says to expect it to swing to the south soon though.

Outlook is for the period to decrease gradually today but for swell height at sea to stary around the 1.5-2 m mark through the coming week. It won’t be flat, but the bomb sets will probably be more like chest to shoulder rather than consistently overhead. Tomorrow should see the best conditions for the early ahead of the SE wind.

Tide was low at 0640 and will be back to the 1.4m high at 1245

Go well!

Hazardous surf conditions are expected to ease this morning over northern waters. Meanwhile, a slow moving high pressure system over the southern Tasman Sea extends a ridge of high pressure over News South Wales waters.
