The Goat’s Surf Forecast

Surf forecast issued Thursday 8 September 2022: Seven day outlook for Sydney

A quickie tonight.. coz TG is busy getting ready for another little adventure…

Aniother one so soon?? Sigh yes, someone has to do them.

Weather for the weekend according to the Bureau’s words, is looking ok…while the current 4 day charts suggest something else. As always no one can really predict what the 999 Low currently spinning like a top over Sth Oz is likely to do with itself …Computer drawn charts are good, but there’s nothing wrong with a bit of human judgement when interpreting computer results for anything.  TG is inclined to go with the human judgement in this case, as it’s a little bit more optimistic… But keep your options open. 🙂

Surf, which is currently messy but with some size, could be a bit cleaner but smaller over the weekend. Friday could be ok for Noreast spots… if you don’t mind the showers, cool breeze, cool water.. cleaner but smaller than down the beach.

Weather for next week looks like being pretty much back to so so…

Surf could be in the medium size at dead South spots, but with wind

Again, depending partly on what that Low does in coming days…

Friday: around 2ish metres North East, with wind

Saturday: easing back, somewhere in the 1-2 metre rnage North East

Sunday: around 1 ish metres North East

Monday: starting to come up into the 1-2 metre range at dead South spots

Tuesday: dittoish

Wednesday: similar or so

Thursday: ditto.

Have a good one. Stay safe. Stay well. Stay happy. Think of TG 🙂

TG will post when he can.

Also, the 24 hour row to raise funds for mental health is back on this weekend. Info here about this good cause
