"Stay happy and you'll be perfectly fine" - Jack Norris

Waiting for a break in the rain

Hello Friends,

Horrible day for surfing. 20-30 kts of southerly and intermittent heavy showers plus 3-4 metres of 10-second SE swell are not a great combo. There were a few crazy people battling to catch something resembling a wave at Dee Why point, but there was no obvious reason why you’d bother. The rugged conditions are set to continue through tomorrow and into Sunday. Monday’s currently looking like the go with sunny skies, 2 metres of 10 sec ESE swell and light offshores for the morning sesh. Tuesday’s set to be smaller again, but sunny and offshore for the am.

Go well and stay safe!

Weather Situation

A low pressure system lies over the Tasman Sea, and will continue to move eastwards away from the mainland through today. Meanwhile a strong high pressure system lies south of the continent, and will push southerly winds across all waters, which will remain dominant into the weekend.
