The Goat’s Surf Forecast

The Goat’s Surf Forecast

Surf forecast issued Thursday 1 December 2022: Seven day outlook for Sydney

TG says there hasn’t been all that much of an improvement in overall conditions since he last posted on 17 November, so being lazy he’s hit the repeat button…once more…again….

Hum along….

How will the waves look in the days ahead?~~~

How many metres and where to ‘ll they head?~~~

How many rides might people then get~~~~

Before they fall exhausted in their beeeddd?~~~~~~~~

The answer my friend is blowin’ in the wind …

The answer is blowin’ in the wind~~~~~~~

TG knows it’s hard to believe, but he said he just (on 17 Nov) made those words up!

That’s what the surf outlook will largely depend on, in the face of, or being pushed along by the various winds that are forecast by the Bureau for every day in the days ahead this week… (see weather forecast below, and check daily updates)

Onshore winds, both light and stronger, look like mucking the surf up for a bit longer, with some days of NE and then S to provide some corner variety, if there are suitable waves then.

Friday: somewhere in the 1-2 metre range at places that get dead South swell

Saturday: ditto South East to East swell, with maybe some pulse coming from aways off (and Easterly onshores of course to make it charming)

Sunday: ditto East swell (Bureau says NE wind)

Monday: ditto East/ North East swell ( with N/NE wind according to the BoM)

Tuesday: ditto North East

Wednesday: ditto East

Thursday: starting to come up a bit more, say 1-2, 2+ metres at places that get dead South swell 9with S wind of course)

So just play it by ear ~~~~~~~~~

TG 🙂

Down in the Sea

Water temp is around 20… a bit more than the 12 degree water Don has in California at the moment, and a bit less thn my last pleasant 28 degree immersion in Hawaii.
