The Goat’s Surf Forecast

The Goat’s Surf Forecast

Surf forecast issued Friday 3 February 2023: Seven day outlook for Sydney

Pretty as a pitcher today (Friday) – blue skies, warm sunshine, cooling breeze and blue water waves…

Waves that looked nice, semi nice, semi ok nice, or hmm, depending on the time of day… tides/banks and wind.

Consequently surfing experiences reported seemed to range from “that was good”, to “that was …” (not very good), to “I was just out there to get wet”, to ” I don’t know what I was doing out there”. TG can’t say – he was otherwise occupied.

The weekend outlook looks like great conditions, but wave size is going down from today’s sets…although there could still be a little pulse giving them some oomph.

Wave quality will depend on the tides and winds.

Saturday: around 1 metre or so Eastish (forecast westly wind might push waves down, or might put a feather on nice little waves

Sunday: similar though direction more South East

Monday: around 1 mtere or so, maybe less East South East

Tuesday: ditto South East

Wednesday: ditto Eastish

Thursday: similar then starting to come up a little, say 1-1+ metres at dead South spots

Friday: maybe up a little more from the South.

Have a good one.

TG.
