"Stay happy and you'll be perfectly fine" - Jack Norris

Clean conditions but only small waves

Hello Friends,

Another bright and sunny mid-summer morning with light offshores from daybreak. Unfortunately it looks as though yesterday’s occasional chest high sets are not on the menu for Sunday surfers at Dee Why. It’s looking more like ankle to knee high, with the odd waist high set – and that’s at the focal points at least where Dee Why’s concerned. Out at sea the east swell is about a metre at 10 seconds, so if you get lucky there might be one or two chest high bombs in the mix. You might want to go for a paddle anyway, because from the shape of the forecast, we’ll be back to showery weather from Tuesday through Friday. And it looks like staying small to tiny.

It’s a long way out, but there seems to be the prospect of a solid ENE pulse arriving mid next weekend. If it plays out as the more hopeful models predict, the morning sessions from Sunday to mid-next week could be quite interesting…

Have a great day everyone!
