Hello Friends,
Although there were a reasonable number of people in the water north of the club at Dee Why, I didn’t see anyone catch a wave when I was taking the snaps this morning. Surface conditions were choppy and although there was a longish line thanks to the 10 second period of the 1.4 m SSE swell, the wind’s been blowing ENE since 0430. Tide’s not helping either as the 1.76 m high arrives at 0940. So, good for paddling exercise I guess, but surfing, not so much. Try the protected north corners today.
Outlook according to this morning’s swell and weather modelling, is for these conditions to last more or less through to Saturday. Oh, and tomorrow it gets showery and stays that way into the weekend. Not the best I guess, but at least Sunday onward is still looking hopeful on the long range models.
Go well with your Monday everyone!
