Chest to shoulder high on the sets along the beach before 0800 this morning at Dee Why. There were a couple of hopefuls at the point, but I’d say they’re doing a lot of waiting for maybe waist high sets. Wind was light WSW and the tide was coming into the 1100 high. Out at sea the swell was 1.3 metres at 14 seconds from the SSE. So it was pretty lined up along the beach and that meant the ratio of makeable ones to the straight handers was not great.
Weather should be partly cloudy as we head to a high of 27 later. Water is clean and on 24.
