Hello Friends,
Only the barest hint of a wave this morning along the beaches. Wind was out of the north at 3-4 kts when I grabbed the pictures around 0700. As you can see, it is just barely into the catchable range at the magnets. That’s not too surprising given the swell settings of a metre at 11 seconds from the SSE. Tide hits high at 0855 and will be back to low at 1450. Water is clean and on 19 as we head to a sunny day with a spring heatwave high of 32.
It looks like being small to tiny for a few days, but the ambient swell direction is swinging more east so, although the predicted periods are dropping into the 8 second range, there could be a few fun ones Tuesday morning…
Go well!
Weather Situation
A strong slow-moving high pressure system over the Tasman Sea is expected to maintain a ridge over New South Wales into next week. A cold front is expected to move through the south coast later on Tuesday before moving further north during Wednesday.
