New swell

Hello Friends,

Another stunning morning out there. Yesterday all the action was at spots like North Narrabeen.

This morning it’s the south magnets’ turn again.

Sunny skies, 10-15kts of westerly from before dawn and a NE/SSE combo swell with 3 metres of 11-12 sec south energy dominating meant Dee Why was firing up, Northy was not and Longy was chaotic.

Tide’s coming off the 0740 low as it heads to a 1.5 m high at 1425.

Air temp’s going to be mild and there’s a call for the possibility of a shower this afternoon. Unfortunately, the wind’s expected to swing south soon, so for the best conditions, jump in now!

Lot of sand moved back off the beach in the last 24 hours

Weather Situation

A deep low pressure system to the southeast of Tasmania is moving further away to the southeast while a ridge of high pressure develops across the north. Southerly winds will increase today as a weak trough moves north along the New South Wales coast. Winds are expected to ease and then tend northerly later on the weekend or early next week as a high pressure system reaches the Tasman Sea.
