Hello Friends,
It’s down from yesterday, but the point still had lots of waist to chest-plus sets for the healthy crew on it. Wind was out of the north at just 3-5 kts as of 0800, while out at sea the swell was 1.7 m at 10 seconds from the E-ESE. Tide was coming in from the 0600 low and will be back to the 1.65 high at 1240. By then the wind will be around to the NE and the comparatively clean conditions at the point will be no more.
The Bureau says the NE’r will hammer us tomorrow, but with any luck, there should be the odd little wave to be found for the early. As for the rest of the week, well, you could do worse than jump over to the Goat’s latest week-ahead thoughts.
Go well!
