"Stay happy and you'll be perfectly fine" - Jack Norris

Smaller but still a few sets in the mix

Hello Friends,

A sunny morning with light offshore breezes and some fun energy at focal points this morning. Swell at sea has dropped into the 1.3 metre range and the period is back to around 9 seconds. The easterly component is dominating, but every now and then a solid south set (see above) rolls in to keep things interesting. We had a 0.6 m low tide at 0740 and the high at 1440 is just 1.2 m, so the tidal swing is less than a metre. Weaher’s set to stay sunny as we head to a high of 22.

Energy levels look like staying pretty similar to today’s for Wednesday, but the east component should be replaced by 8-9 second SSE wind swell. Beyond that, the models are currently showing marginal conditions for the end of the week and then a fresh, 2+ metre south pulse arrives Saturday-ish (along with showery weather) and sticks around into the front half of next week.

Have a good one!

South Curly was pretty undistinguished, but this bloke scored a moment
