The Goat’s Surf Forecast

Surf forecast issued Friday 17 May 2024: Seven day outlook for Sydney

Lovely day, but tonight and tomorrow look cooler/colder and wetter.

The SSW change looks like arriving around 9pm ish tonight, and the BoM has a Large Surf warning for tomorrow, with wind and showers.. Uninviting.

A shame because the water’s nice, pleasant waves, and there was a pretty sunset for those who could see it. Oh well…

Surf outlook is

Saturday: coming up around 2ish metres or more at places open to due South

Sunday: around 2, 2+ metres from South South East

Monday: easing back a bit into the 1-2 metre range at dead South spots

Tuesday: somewhere in the 1-2 metre range South East

Wednesday: 1-2 metre range or 2 ish metres dead South

Thursday: easing back to around 1 ish metres or so, give or take, more or less, South/East

Friday: down a little more

Stay warm.
