Hello Friends,
Strictly as morning for the desperate. Grey skies and the odd drizzly period do not encourage the stoke levels either. It’s not quite the lake-like flatness of yesterday morning, but that’s not saying much. Wind’s been blowing from the ESE since midnight and as of 0830 was 12-16 kts. The MHL data from 0600 showed 1.7 metres of 14-second dead south swell, which would account for the occasional distinctive long line mixed in with the choppy, short period surface junk.
The Bureau tells us to expect conditions to continue in this vein through tomorrow and then maybe the onshores will dial back around daybreak on Tuesday as a long period, meterish straight south pulse fills in. Midweek currently looks like maybe seeing actual offshore breezes, plus clearing skies and some remnant south energy at the magnets. The rest of the work week looks okay weatherwise with generally light winds and some weak little east wind swell in the knee-plus range.
Have a great Sunday everyone!
