Hello Friends,
Back in Sydney and it looks as though there were a few waves around for the early. Swell is still showing but it’s pretty much chewed up at Dee Why now (1545). Too jet-lagged to really feel like going for splash, so suits me. 🙂
The NE wind was 15-20 kts as I wrote this and the Bureau’s call is for it to stay out of the NE through tomorrow – and to be pretty strong. There’s supposed to be a mix of NE and SE swell in the morning, but it could be fading on a dropping tide. Best shot might be a north corner for the early. Could maybe see some waist to chest plus little wind swell peaks.
Looking ahead it would seem we’re in for generally small conditions through the week, with n to ne at first and then going n to nw before shifting into southerly mode around Friday.
Great to be back, catch ya tomorrow!
Weather Situation
A high south of Tasmania extends a ridge to another high centre over the Tasman Sea with a generally northeasterly airstream along the NSW coast. A broad slow-moving trough of low pressure currently over South Australia may bring a southerly change to the south coast Tuesday or Wednesday, but the remainder of the coast should maintain northeasterlies.
