Average

I’ve been off the radar for a while. Had a few weeks overseas in the tropics and coming back to average waves and bad sandbanks at my local Queenscliff has been a struggle to get the camera out.  Anyway today is nothing pumping but there is a nice 3ft of NE swell rolling in but certainly […]

Better as tide drops

My last report for 3 weeks. Get to go tropical in New Caledonia and hopefully find a few waves. Today in Sydney has a couple of feet of ESE swell but early the 6:05am high tide wasn’t helping. Should improve as it drops but onshores are forecast.  Have a great Xmas and hope Sydney gets blessed […]

Lumpy Bumpy

2-3ft of wind affected NE swell and wind. Was still some shapely bumps at Queenscliff end despite the wind and lumpy conditions. 10:30am low Mark – Surfboards Direct

Pumping Sunday

Basically bloody pumping. Some solid sets in the mix. Clean. Peaks, walls, clean ups, late drops.  Pending onshores. Beginners take care. Low tide 8:14 High 2:19am Mark – Surfboards Direct

Smaller

East swell has dropped to a slow thigh high.  Clean for the dawn patrollers and tide filling in from a 5am low mean it’s best early before the forecast easterly. Mark – Surfboards Direct

South Ends the Go

Still a bit of NE swell around but theres a south to se wind affecting north ends.  So protected south ends should still be cleanish with waves. I’m too lazy to head down and shoot them so my shots could look better if I wasn’t so lazy. High tide 10:48am so probably worth a surf […]

Late file

Late post. These are ics from this morning. Been good all day and still is! Mark

Taken (bugger)

Conditions are so good for Manly.  There a beautiful 3ft NE groundswell filtering in and conditions are perfect and clean. Unfortunately for Queenscliff surfers at my end the clubbies are setting up to take over a big part of the beach for a comp so get it while you can. The crowds will be squeezed […]

Small and ruffled

Small NE lines ruffled at north ends by a southerly breeze. Clean at the south end. Pending 8:47am high is really not helping. Mixed bag of not-so-great wnds on the cards today. Tomorrow is looking better. Get online and watch some sunset. Mark

Rinse and Repeat

Theme of the week is NE windswells. Some nice clean little lines this morning about to be eaten by the high tide. Early surfers had a few bumps.   Today shows some kind of south change later, maybe some more storms to keep things interesting. Mark – Surfboards Direct
