Had a fun surf on the big board up by NoMans last night just on dark in about waist to chest high conditions but that’s pretty much history now. It’s gonna be rippa of a day today (minus the surf) and probably on average, better than most day’s we’re likely to see in the middle of summer as far as the weather goes, so make plans to get out and amongst it. Looking at the charts there are some interesting things happening but I don’t see much at the beach. Straight E swell that’s not getting into DY at all but there COULD be some potential for those E and NE facing beaches as the charts show an 8-14 sec interval. Set waves at Narra could be OK, but at the moment everyone there is sitting about 50m from the beach. Windy later with nor’westers to come screaming in up to 30 knots. Will feel like summer bushfire conditions by mid-afternoon…
