Hello Friends,

Once again, Dee Why beach is bigger than the point. It’s just not enough bigger to have lured any players to the table just yet. Not too surprising really because the swell, such as it is, has gone around to the SSW and, although it’s 1.5 metres, the average period is just on 7 seconds.  The Bureau’s call is for SW 10-15kts this morning, swinging SE-NE 8-13kts this afternoon. We’re coming off a low tide at the moment and heading toward a moderate high around 1143. Weather should be nice – fine and sunny with a high around 25.

The models don’t hold out much hope for an improvement to the surf situation for the next 48 hours. Around about Wednesday morning some models are projecting a small south pulse in the 2 metre, 10 sec period range (with light south wind).

There will be a delay of a couple hours or so before I can manage another update to the situation. Hope to be out and
