Posted by: mercury on May 10th, 2009on saturday at 5 pm: maybe 1 – 3 footers at estevan point – very small, but sweeping, circular, steady lines at our rivermouth point … yes, i said that yesterday … unfortunately, it was drooping a little further today …. >:( – more horrific still, it looks quite listless all the way up at ucluelet, 130 km up the coast to the north-west, and well beyond our straits mouth (35 km hence) – glorious estevan point, some 80 km beyond, is looking a bit rosier, maybe 1 – 3 feet, but under straggly low tide, with a long walk out over a huge exposed reef – marine winds easterly at our straits mouth, maxing at 20 knots – still clear and mostly dry here, relatively hot and globally-warmed, for early may – please stay tuned …….
