Good news, the swell is hanging in there at about the same intensity as late yesterday – which was pretty intense! For the record, the numbers are looking like this as we head into Friday: swell is south at 3 metres with a juicy power setting of 10 seconds, wind is westerly at 10-15 kts from the west, but is set to ease (as is the swell). Next tide is a high at 1115.

Your humble servant is now about to head out in search of a few more pictures to share from what looks to be another amazing day. I could sure use a cup of coffee… better earn it first before putting the tipjar out…

Here’s the Bureau’s call

Sydney Coastal Waters, Broken Bay to Port Hacking and 60nm seawards:
Friday until midnight: Wind: SW 15/20 knots at first, easing then tending NW 5/10 knots by the evening.Sea: 1.5 to 2 metres at first, abating to below 1 metre by the evening. Swell: S 2.5 to 3 metres, decreasing to 2 to 2.5 metres by the evening.
Saturday: Wind: N/NW 10/15 knots early, freshening to 15/20 knots by the afternoon. Sea: about 1 metre at first, rising to 1.5 to 2 metres by the afternoon. Swell: S/SE 1.5 to 2 metres, decreasing to 1 to 1.5 metres by the evening.
Sunday: Wind: W/NW 15/25 knots, easing.
