Greyness and gloom

Nothin' doin' this mornin'

Swirlling drizzle and scudding dribble at 0845

Hello Friends,

My first morning to do weekday surf reports on 702 ABC and what do we have? Grey skies and SE winds with almost no swell. Oh dear.

To the extent there is anything, our windswell this morning is about a metre and a bit from the SE at a weak 7 seconds. Couldn’t see anyone in the water along the Dee Why stretch. My strong hunch is that the same applies all up and down our beaches in Sydney this morning.

It has to be said that the forecast models are saying that Huey won’t be looking kindly upon us this week. This morning’s SE’ly is set to swing around to the NE this evening and then to keep at it from that direction tomorrow.

Sadly I can’t see it bringing us much of anything to surf. I guess if you are really, really keen, you might get something in the knee high range at a spots exposed directly to the SE. Of course the wind’ll be on top of it…

Water’s warm though!

Go well with your Monday aventures.
