After the small increase in size yesterday arvo I was not happy to have set the alarm for an early start only to be greeted by 1 to 2 ft of bumpy slop this morning…………when will this bad summer of waves end? It looks like we should get something resembling a swell arriving Tuesday for a few days and the winds may even play the game as well. Fingers crossed. It will be from the southerly quarter though so its a fair bet at this stage that Manly will probably not be the best spot! Yesterday arvo we got some fun waves (at long last) down the coast at a nicely protected northern corner after making the 1.5 hr drive. Well worth it. There are some great banks on the beaches down that way if you are thinking of it.
