Waves again, but lulls

Hello Friends,

We still have some energy in the ocean this morning. Swell direction has a touch more east to it and overnight the average size has slipped just a touch to be around 2 metres at sea. Average period remains unchanged from yesterday’s 9 seconds. Some 12 second stuff showing in the MHL data, so expect the odd bomb set.

From the look of the forecasts out swell will continue to fade over the next 24 hours. While there should still be something in the surfable range for Wednesday but after that the current run of the models suggest we’re in for small to nearly flat conditions. Fingers crossed that it won’t go to zip.

Light winds this morning for the incoming tide and then NE’r this afternoon. So choose accordingly – and enjoy!
