As expected…bugger!

Hello Friends,

Rather tiny looking down at Dee Why as the metre or so of 10sec period SE swell mostly just laps along the rocks and flops over on the beach. A couple bods were having a go, but they didn’t look like catching anything while I watched.

And that situation seems to be pretty much what we can expect for today and tomorrow. The only bright spot is the wind forecast which tells us that the breeze will be out of the northern quarters. With luck the north corners will be picking up a little of the tiny south swell and providing something for the extra keen.

The models continue to show the prospect of a south bump on Saturday. The Bureau isn’t in the chorus though, so my outlook is cautious and hopeful of something interesting for Saturday. And by interesting, I’d be stoked if we got stuff into the head high range.

Have yourself a great day!

Here’s the official call from the Bureau of Meterology
